Quick Board Question and Poll

Like I said in my last post... due to the looming National Board and my lack of studying so far, I'm keeping my posts short for the next few weeks. First off, I have a question for everyone. Justin and I are disagreeing on the "look" of this headwrap. I think it's cute, he think the added bulk makes me look like "The Brain." Of course now that I have set for the record who's opinion is whom's... hopefully you'll all be on my side :)

But I do want you to be honest. If you think it's totally lame-o and I need to return it for fear of public humiliation, I will do so. But I just needed a third-party opinion. :)

BOARD QUESTION!! I know you've all been waiting impatiently for your second question, seeing as how I had a WHOPPING 1 "over the phone" response (thanks, mom.):

The subject matter is Radiology.

Which of the following projections is best for examination of fractures of the zygomatic bone?

a. Waters projection
b. Submentovertex projection
c. Reverse Towne projection
d. Transcranial projection

Write your answer in the comments. And also your opinion of the "epulis fissuratum" headwrap.

Don't ask.

  1. I think for a fair judgement on the "head wrap" we need to see a pic of you wearing it! I, personally, tried one on and it was completely hideous! Perhaps better with long hair??

  2. I need to see it on you. The picture was not too flattering. If you are wearing it for warmth while skiing, I think it will be okay if you have a hood on your ski jacket. Otherwise, let me see it on you. I'm reserving my dental deck answer until I confer with Dad.

  3. Submentovertex projection - what do I get if I'm right? - Jessica

  4. We're going with the transcranial projection but if that's not right, then Reverse Towne. And the "epulis fissuratum" looks like a scene from Love Story with Ali McGraw (per Dad) Mom wishes you would have gotten another color, but I don't think it looks bad. Andrea and Karen both thought it was cute.
